Sunday Sketch: KId Kalwa

Sharing another Sunday Sketch, which is KID KALWA. Recently, I’ve wanted to return to Webtoons and further expand the Kalwa brand. Kalwa was (and still is) on webtoons for a number of months, but I stopped updating it after a while due to the sheer amount of material and the amount of time it took to edit it. Simply put, the main Kalwa story isn’t really designed for a quick read online comic as it is an on going story. So I’ve decided to make a spin off of Kid Kalwa, which is a non-canon gag comic. In this comic Kalwa has had the phone in her youth and she’s causing trouble for those around her with it.

I had actually done these comics before on webtoons between chapters, but now I’m looking to make it into a full on series seperate from the main series. It’s also worth noting in this image, if you look back on chapter 14’s flash back, this Kalwa looks notably different than Kalwa’s original child model, her hair looks more like her short hair style and less messy. I’ll let everyone know when the real comic comes, it’ll be after this move I’m preparing for.

Sunday Sketch: Realistic Kalwa

The first of many Sunday Sketch’s to come. So for the longest time I’ve wanted to draw Kalwa in a more realistic like style. I actually tried several time over the years but just did not like her appearance all that much. During lunch at the day job I’ve been practicing drawing fan characters and practicing other art styles, studying the art style of artist such as J Scott Campbell who, like me, likes to draw pretty girls. So here’s what’s come of the practice so far. Any feedback would be appreciated to help improve the craft.

Happy Monday everyone, another day another week. Well to start off your week, a new page for chapter 25 is now up for your reading pleasure. We are now more than half way through this chapter as Kalwa continues her recovery from her horiffic experience in Whitechappel. I’ll also be doing an announcement soon about updates and schedule of new pages. I’m going thorough a bit of a move and kinda want to get settled before committing. But I’ll give an update soon. Chapter 25 Page 13

I’m sorry for a bit of a quiet time, I’m actually looking into doing a major move into a new place and I’ve been busy kinda planning and arranging for that, so my time has been a bit divided. So I’ve been moving a little slow this week, but I’m still working to get more pages done. It’s in my nature, and I really have learned to kinda use these pages as a way to relax, namely when I’m putting the shades down and start to see the page spring to life, that’s when I get happy.

Anyway, commentary aside. A new page for chapter 25 is up and ready for reading. Also we just installed an applause button on the bottom of each page, so if you enjoy it, please feel free to give us an applause. The more we get the better, because it reflects on the actual page. This feature is currently only available on the newest two chapters (chapters 24 and 25). We also have a feedback feature on the side so you can give us you’re thoughts to see how we are doing and how we can improve, this includes site issues as well. Swimsuit Harem

There’s been a bit of build up to this for a little while on our social media platforms and now it’s finally here. We now have an official swimsuit harem featuring all the girls from the past twenty four chapters, or at least the young ones. Miki’s in there as well just looking cute as we did need a ninth girl. So as a celebration for all these years of progress in the story, enjoy this little bit of fanservice.

Finally a page update, the first of the year. I’ve been distracted these last few days with some life changes as well as some rearranging of toy displays around my fine working quarters. So here we are, as we continue with Kalwa’s one on one training with Hideyoshi. However danger is nearby, and Hideyoshi won’t take it laying down.

Chapter 25 Page 10 (last Page of the Year) + More

Well, guess we can’t have another page later than this for the year. Happy New Years eve everyone, hope you’ve made your resolutions and have fun tonight. I’m here to present the very last page for 2021. I suppose ending on page 10 this year is a good way to go out, so I feel this is an accomplishment.

In another note, I want to give a slight update on some issues on the site. WordPress made an update that really wiped out our navigation on the comic pages. As such, I’m currently going through and modifying the navigation on each page with a new button system that links everything. They are also getting some banners to link all social media accounts as well as the Green Raptor website to this site. The process is going faster than expected and the more recent chapters are getting the updates first. We are working backwards but it will take just a little longer to get the older chapters all set up, but know I am working as fast as possible.

Finally a big thank you to everyone who has followed this website and supported what we are doing here on the website. Every year the number grows and though we are still a little relatively unknown, every year your support goes a long way. It really lets me and my co-writer know that our work is appreciated and that people are enjoying it. So I would like to say once again thank you for all your support and love, it really makes a big difference.
