Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween all you great people out there. Halloween is that special time of year I love so much. This is time of year I get to embrace my inner horror love. Of course I do my annual Halloween Draw Off (posted on my other site Green Raptor Studios), but I also like to read horror stories, watch movies and really just make the whole month about the Halloween time.

As a quick update, I do have a summary of the next chapter of Kalwa sent to my editor. I haven’t made much more progress on because I wanted to enjoy the October month and make it all about fun. That’s not to say I don’t enjoy doing my comics, but their kinda my main work, so I kinda consider them more of my “job” rather than leisure work. Besides I was working hard in September to finish the first chapter of another comic I started called the Raptor Queen. So I really wanted October off do just enjoy myself.

I promise that once October is over, I’ll get more serious on both Kalwa and the Raptor Queen. I’m very excited for what comes next. Meanwhile, here’s this year’s Halloween drawing for Kalwa. I’m bringing out her old Maleficent costume which debuted a couple of years after seeing that live action Maleficent movie. Personally I don’t like the film one bit, but the character’s design make a nice costume for my characters.

Summer Camping

Another summer piece before the month of June ends, if you can consider it. I just came up with this piece featuring our cast out on a camping trip, after thinking of some ridicules Little Ceaser’s commercial I saw two years ago. Kinda gave me some summer vibes, so I decided to a Kalwa camping piece. Hope you all enjoy.

Summer 2025

It’s officially the first day of summer, and as usual it’s time for the annual Green Raptor summer piece. It’s Kalwa’s turn this year (I think only one year I did Amber instead of Kalwa). Truth be told, where I live, summer is NOT really that great. It’s scorching hot to the point where going outside is painful. Though it does make great pool weather. Still I can’t really pass up the opportunity to draw my characters in hot swimsuits.

Chapter 29 Final update

So yes, I’m kinda tired of doing these little updates for this chapter, especially since most of it doesn’t even have text. So I’m just doing a big update and uploading the last four pages of chapter 29, thus bringing this chapter to a close. I must say this chapter flowed smoothly, actually finished ahead of schedule in terms of work completion. Chapter 30 is already being drawn up right now, so far seven pages plus the cover have been sketched. I’ll give more updates on that later, for now check out the last four pages of chapter 29, link below to read it from the beginning.

Sorry that we fell a little bit off our regular update schedule. I was kinda chilling for New Years and also the day job has kinda been a little brutal lately and has left me kinda drained for uploading. So this morning I woke up and took a look at this page and felt the motion effects didn’t leave much of an impact. So I had to got back and rework them a bit Hopefully they look better now.
