Happy… uh… Black Friday. Do we consider this a holiday or a day of pure insanity, who knows. Well in case you had a bad day, just tired or not really doing much. We got a brand new page for chapter 25 out today, and it’s a night scene which are always fun to do with the playing of light and dramatic shading. Also I finally fixed the menu issue I was complaining about with the last update, it’s really just a matter of doing my old methods in a different way. Gonna take some time to get use to it, but I’ll manage. As usual, click the link below and see the latest page.
Chapter 25 Preview
A little preview of chapter 25 from where it stands right now. I’m still waiting for the script, but my co-writer says he should get it to me by the end of the week. As such, I’m just getting a leg up on the first two pages so when the script comes back I can get them out faster. So here’s a little preview of chapter 25 coming real soon.
Chapter 25 Cover Preview
Here first on the website, here’s a a look at the cover to chapter 25, colored and just about ready to go. Still have’t come up with a tag line for the cover yet, but it’ll be something along the lines of “inner strength.” I’m still waiting to get the script back, but I’m working on some other projects under the Green Raptor name and of course practicing in the sketchbook. More info coming as we get closer to the actual chapter 25.

Lunchtime break and I sadly brought the wrong art bag today, so I can’t draw in the old sketchbook today. So here’s a little Art Dump of some old images previously put up on the site. I think all these images can be found on the gallery section of the site. The first one might not, just be the last page of chapter 23. Anyway, enjoy the mini gallery!
Gender Swap
So this week, I started taking my sketchbook to work to draw at lunchtime, since I tend to finish my lunch rather fast and hate just sitting around for about forty minutes doing nothing, plus it’s gotten kinda hard to draw at home amongst everything else I do. So this week, the idea came to mind to draw the main cast if they were of the opposite gender, a gender swap if you will. The original sketch has been uploaded to the facebook page, so if you follow us there you might off seen it. Exclusively here on the site for now, is colored versions of the characters gender swapped, complete with their alternate names for their new genders. So if you like gender swaps, well here’s what our heroes would look like.
Kalwa Meets Naruto
Consider this my belated birthday tribute to Naruto, as I feel so bad having not done anything for his birthday earlier this month. Naruto himself is actually my favorite anime/manga character of all time, I actually have all 73 books of his series, as well as a number of figures around my room, so I’ve been meaning to do this crossover for quite some time. Also I should note that Kalwa’s favorite color is orange, I actually chose the color to represent her because it’s bright and energetic. This actually kinda puts her a bit on par with Naruto who quite well known for his orange color. Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys this piece.
Young HIdeyoshi and Karou
Hello again everyone, back with a bit of an update. So I’ve been a bit busy recently working on Halloween related stuff both for this site and the Green Raptor site. In fact I actually get kinda stressed this time of the year because I feel a great deal of pressure trying to get Halloween related stuff out before the big holiday, which is especially stressful when I got a chapter to work on in addition to all that.
Fortunately it’s all done, and I’ll get to writing the script to the next chapter next week, as well as get cover designs going. To give you all a little preview and show you some work, here’s a work straight from the sketchbook. So we’ve spent two chapters thus far in Japan at the fortress of Hideyoshi and his wife Karou. Well next chapter you’ll get to see them as children and the origins of their home will be revealed. These are the first sketches of them as kids, though I think there will be some slight changes before the final product. So enjoy this sneak preview of what you’ll see, straight from the sketchbook.
