Sorry that we fell a little bit off our regular update schedule. I was kinda chilling for New Years and also the day job has kinda been a little brutal lately and has left me kinda drained for uploading. So this morning I woke up and took a look at this page and felt the motion effects didn’t leave much of an impact. So I had to got back and rework them a bit Hopefully they look better now.

Japanese Arch production art
Most of these drawings can be found in the production art section art gallery, but I’m re-sharing some production art from our most recent Japanese arch, such as minor characters and child designs. These drawings are usually done in my sketch book during down time, though I might also draw them on some larger paper at home on the drawing board.

Chapter 28 Pages 6-7
I’m SO SORRY for the lengthy delay in pages. At first I was holding off till I could get more finished in order to keep the cache healthy. I was aiming to for an updated over this past weekend, but I on Sunday I had to rush out the door in the morning for the day job, and then that day I felt REALLY CRAPPY, as in kinda sick and out of it. So I went to bed as soon as I got home that day and slept for ten hours off and on again. The next two days I started to improve, but still didn’t feel much like drawing or sitting at my computer. I couldn’t even get myself to work in the sketchbook at lunch even when I had the time. So everything got delayed and I’m quite upset about it.
To make up for loss time, today I’m giving you a DOUBLE page update with both pages 6 and 7 today. As usual, click the thumbnail below to read the latest pages!
Book Update
Just a little update on what’s going on lately with publication. So after chapter 27 finished up, things got a little off track with a little vacation time to my states comic con, plus doing some stuff on the Green Raptor side. Now in other news I’m set to make my convention debut at Tuscan Comic Coni this September and I’m bringing both Kalwa and Amber along. Both characters will have their first volumes in hard copy form.
Kalwa Vol 1 will consist of the first four chapters and some exclusive art and handouts for anyone attending the con. I’ll be looking to sell books on the Etsy shop and even some e-books upon getting back. For now here’s some screenshots of the indesign files as the book is being laid out.
As for chapter 28, it’s in the writing, I’ve just fallen a bit behind. The con is gonna be top priority having to get everything ready and printed before then, but I’ll work on it as best I can. Hopefully I can get it finished and sent to my co-writer and he can look it over while I’m in Tuscan.
