Honestly, drawing characters in an environment is fun, but drawing a really detailed background is REAL tiring. So long story short, this might be a one page week this week, we’ll see. It depends on how long it takes to ink all this.
A little update on a promotional image that I’ve been working on these past few weeks. I’ll be posting the finished result as an end cap to chapter 23 when it’s done, as an official kick off to the Japan arch. we are now officially four pages away from finishing the first chapter. Things have been a little different as of late, I just started a new full time job and have kinda been adjusting to the new sleep pattern and workday. In addition to this I’ve started a seven work course on wordpress (mainly to better my skills at the websites like this).
So needless to say my time is mostly occupied as of late. However with this new job and the chance to move on with life, I’m feeling invigorated and motivated to keep moving forward. One of which is my goal to get both Kalwa and all of Green Raptor out into the world with more interactivity and experience. Right now the world is still on lockdown with the virus, but things are getting better and there is nowhere to go but up. So once again, here’s a little update and look for the finished product at the end of chapter 23.

So sorry for the week long break, I’ve been doing some heavy stuff around the house and I’ve been highly distracted. Also this particular page featured A LOT of detail that took quite a bit of time. Backgrounds aren’t exactly my specialty, and while I can draw them, they tend to stunt me a bit more than actual people. So doing something on this scale was most challenging to me, so I kinda padded it out a bit till I could get it just right.
