Happy Monday everyone, and a happy time to be alive. As promised yesterday, a new page is up for chapter 24 for your viewing pleasure. This is quite an exciting moment right here, because we’ve got some CHARACTER BACKSTORY going on here. One of my main goals since starting this arch and going forward is getting more character development out there. I’m really a real deep thinker when it comes to my characters and I’ve felt that earlier chapters didn’t quite develop all the characters the way I wanted, so it’s a new goal going forward from now on. Probably the one good thing about being in quarantine is it’s forced me to do more work in an attempt from going “insane,” course lets be honest I’m already insane cause I willing chose to take on difficult lifestyle of a comic artist (lol). I’ve hopefully developed a a new system that will help to reliably get new pages up at a more steady rate, and speaking of which we got a new one up right now. Did you all catch the premiere of Fena: Pirate Princess last night, cause we are celebrating it right here and now with Pirate Kalwa. There’s been some updates of this on some other social media and now it’s finally here. Hope you all enjoy pirate girls.

Sorry everyone for being so late, just had to fine tune everything. Anyway, we are on for page 4 of chapter 24. At this point I’m kinda just scribbling weapons and was even putting a trident in the background not knowing if it would fit, but someone on facebook pointed out the weapon in the background so I appreciate it. Only three days after it debuted and we got a new page for chapter 24 up and ready for you all. This page is a bit of a call back to chapter 1 in which Kalwa said she wasn’t a fan of onions. It’s been a bit of a long route here everyone, the script was late getting to me and my dog got sick which really weighed me down and I didn’t feel like working. But Chapter 24 is underway and I’m shooting for a weekend launch. As proof, here’s some screen shots showing where things lay at the moment. Look for chapter 24 this weekend!!!

The script for chapter 24 is finished, I just sent it to my co-writer yesterday for review, so I’m just waiting for it to come back before officially rolling. But in the meantime, I’m rolling out the annual summertime piece, I know we’re a little off from the first official day of summer, but I just wanted to draw it. So here’s this year’s illustration. I think I’ll try do a few more as the summer goes on, moving a bit away from the beach theme.
