I’m SO SORRY for the lengthy delay in pages. At first I was holding off till I could get more finished in order to keep the cache healthy. I was aiming to for an updated over this past weekend, but I on Sunday I had to rush out the door in the morning for the day job, and then that day I felt REALLY CRAPPY, as in kinda sick and out of it. So I went to bed as soon as I got home that day and slept for ten hours off and on again. The next two days I started to improve, but still didn’t feel much like drawing or sitting at my computer. I couldn’t even get myself to work in the sketchbook at lunch even when I had the time. So everything got delayed and I’m quite upset about it.

I’m sorry for the lack of updates last week. I did want to add another page last week, but I fell behind a bit and the cache would’ve run out of pages too fast. As a little warning to everyone THIS IS the holiday season and my day job can get pretty stressful this time of the year. As such, there may be a few behind schedule moments where I’m just tired and can’t work on pages. I’ll do my very best to keep up as I love working on this series, but it just may happen. And I also CAN’T let our cache run out otherwise it could really grind everything to a halt. So the update schedule might fluctuate for the rest of the year depending on what happens.

Today is the official day everyone. We’ve had a long break due to con prep and other project, but finally today Kalwa has a NEW chapter starting up. Chapter 28 is officially launching, the final chapter in the current story arch. Today we’re kicking off with THREE pages of this chapter. We got some more done as well, and will upload them in a timely fashion.

Update on chapter 28
So I’m giving an update on chapter 28. I know it’s been a long time and I kinda feel bad it’s taken so long, but I was occupied with convention and print stuff and then being October. My top priority this month was to finish the annual Halloween Draw Off. Now that’s that all done (save for two last uploads), I’m getting more serious about the upcoming chapter. The script is done and the whole chapter has been roughed, so now it’s just finalizing the drawings.
Chapter 28 will start in November after I’ve finished a certain number of pages, this way I can have a cache for consistent uploads even if things get busy in my life. To show you all I mean this in good faith, here’s some pencils of some of the first pages. I’ll make another announcement once we are ready to upload.
